ASABA/Nigeria: May 21, 2022 is less than three weeks from today. It is the day delegates of the PDP will decide who becomes the flag bearer of the Party in the 2023 governorship election. It is a critical moment for Delta State and Deltans. Therefore, delegates at the PDP primaries should not make mistakes in their choice, if the future of the State and Deltans must be guaranteed.
This is the month to vote right for Olorogun David Edevbie, the best Guber aspirant, as the Party’s governorship candidate in the 2023 elections. He has the capacity, training, experience, exposure and passion to take the State to the next level in terms of industrialization and modernization.
With David Edevbie as Governor, Deltans are sure of uninterrupted power supply through a 500 Megawatts Independent Power Project. With that in place, socio-economic lives of Deltans will boom; industries will be attracted; industrial parks will be created, our youths will get jobs and wealth will be created.
Edevbie has promised to bring his global wealth of cognate experience as an investment banker and a development economist to bear on his assignment as Governor of Delta State. He is well known internationally as a system man, and he is prepared to translate that into governance for the benefit of all Deltans.
With David Edevbie on seat as Governor, Delta State workers will get their salaries as at when due, and the quality of life will be high. Retirees will not have to wait for years before getting their gratuities and pension; retirement life will be worthwhile.
When Edevbie is elected Governor, at least 25% of our youths will be given political appointments, while 35% will be given to women, thereby making government to resemble the demographics of Delta State population. He is indeed a visionary leader and we need him as our Governor.
David Edevbie has also promised to start his appointments from the delegates who would give him the ticket to fly the flag of the PDP as governorship candidate. He said those who worked to install him as Governor will not be forgotten. According to him, “monkey work, monkey chop.” No more monkey work, baboon chop. He asked Deltans to hold him accountable for all his campaign promises. He is a man to trust. Vote for him and smile.
Contractors enjoyed him when he was the Finance Commissioner three times. You didn’t need to see or bribe Edevbie to get paid for a completed job, done according to specifications. Payments were automatic as soon as your job was certified as completed. That’s why he should be given the ticket as the PDP’s governorship candidate on the 21st of May, 2022. With Edevbie as Governor, contractors will not have to wait for years to get paid for their completed jobs.
Edevbie has promised to assist Deltans to get jobs in the Federal Government Agencies in Abuja if he is given the mandate as the Governor of Delta State. He opened our eyes to see that there are 250 Federal Government Agencies in the FCT and that Deltans can be employed in such agencies just as their counterparts from other States of the federation. He is indeed the gateway of Delta State to Abuja. He should be elected.
Edevbie has mapped out various infrastructural projects for the three Senatorial Districts of the State, according to their peculiarities. This he was able to do from the experience which he acquired from being part of government since 1999 as three times Finance Commissioner and Chief of Staff to a former President and also to the incumbent Governor of Delta State. He knows the development needs of every LGA of the State. This is the man we want as Governor. Please vote for him.
Edevbie also promised to establish an inter-modal transport system in Delta State, comprising road, rail, air and water. He has seen how it works in the developed countries and so he wants to replicate same in Delta State. Let us give him the mandate to fly the flag of the PDP as its governorship candidate. He is the one who has the capacity to manage the resources of our dear State effectively and optimally.
David Edevbie is a very detribalized gentleman. He has the interest of all the ethnic groups in the State at heart. He mixes freely with people from diverse backgrounds. He is social and cultural. He is a titled Chief in Ughelli Kingdom, despite being well educated overseas. He is well blended. He is the best aspirant for the job of Governor of Delta State. Please give him the ticket as candidate.
As a well travelled and well educated person, Edevbie has promised to revolutionize tertiary institutions in Delta State to reflect the type of industries that would be established to employ their graduates. This will reduce unemployment in the State, and the spate of crime will be reduced as well. Security will also be guaranteed and all Deltans will be happy.
Edevbie has promised to tackle insecurity in Delta State by collaborating with critical stakeholders such as the Federal Government and its relevant agencies, towards making Delta State an investment haven. Modern technologies such as drones and CCTV cameras will be deployed to actualize this plan for the benefit of all Deltans.
In fact, Edevbie is the one to lead Delta State to the promised land. If we elect him as Governor, we shall be glad we did. Let us unite in our resolve to take Delta State to greater heights by voting for Olorogun David Edevbie at the 21st May PDP primary, and at the 2023 general elections.
