Monday Onyeme Call on Support Group to Give Their Total Commitment to the Re-Election of Okowa

OBIARUKU/Nigeria: The Chairman Delta state Board of Internal Revenue, (DBIR), Sir Monday John Onyeme have called on the various supporters of the delta State governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, to work towards victory for the governor in the 2019 governorship election in the state.

Sir Onyeme made the public call recently in Obiaruku while commissioning the Ukwuani Chapter of the Secretariat of “Odoziani/Ezinne Support Group 4 Okowa” Ukwuani Chapter, which was also used to mark the grand reception in honour of him.

While Commissioning the secretariat, he called on all Members of the Group to make judicious use of the Secretariat, urging them not to relent in standing firmly behind the Okowa’s led administration as well as Okowa’s 2019 re-election noting that the Secretariat will act as a Comfort Channel not only to Propagate the Good works of Dr Ifeanyi Okowa but also to Canvass Support for his re-election as well as other PDP flag bearers in the area.

While eulogising the governor for his infrastructural achievements, and human capital projects, he reminded members of the group, that more dividend of democracy will be achieved in the second tenure of the governor.

“You are not only to use this secretariat an administrative centre, but also to propagate the activities and achievements of the Okowa government, and the 2019 projects of his reelection and other Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Members in our area, who are contesting.” He said.

Sir Onyeme, who is also known for his humanitarian gestures, and great contribution to the Ndokwa nation, used the occasion to visit the Okpala-Uku of Obiaruku, where he was honoured with a Chieftaincy Title, Ofuonye Diosa NMA 1 OF Obiaruku.

In attendance were Senator Patrick Osakwe, Rear Admiral Mike Onah, Dr Mrs Esther Uduehi, DTHA Representing Ndokwa West Constituency Hon Azuka Azaka, Party leaders and faithfuls, DBIR Board Secretary Chief Mike Edegware Esq, Board Member Representing Delta South Senatorial Districts Chief Dr Barry Pere Gbe, DBIR Board Member Representing Delta North Senatorial Districts Chief Goddey Daniel Iwebuke.

Meanwhile, Chief Onyeme had called for the extension of The Ndokwa Ambasador for Community Female for Okowa 2019, to extend their tentacle to other areas of Ndokwa Nation. He stated this when he visited the group in Utagba-Unor, Ndokwa West Local Government Area.

He commended the group for their good works to promote the Okowa 2019 Agenda, and asked that they should not relent, as he is behind them to achieve the Okowa and PDP victory in 2019.
