Mrs. Victoria Ebireri Unubreme stood out – Officiating Priest

SAPELE/Nigeria: Deltans said farewell to Mrs. Victoria Ebireri Unubreme on Friday.

Before a host of visitors, Mrs. Unubreme was eulogized as a “great woman”

“Mrs. Victoria Ebireri Unubreme demonstrated a life of service, love, compassion and excellence” one of the officiating priests said.

The casket carrying the body was taken by motorcade from Amukpe to her family compound.

There were tears as the casket left the compound to St Martin’s Catholic Church, Sapele.

The funeral service was attended by a host of Catholic faithful, community leaders, business executives and top government functionaries.

The remains of Mrs. Unubreme was buried at her Obire residence amidst tears by families, friends and business associates.

Mrs. Unubreme was an active member of the Catholic Youth Organisation at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Sapele, Laity Chairman, St Martin’s Catholic Church, Sapele, Financial Secretary, Urhobo Central Council, Warri Diocesan, Vice Chairman, Okpe Catholic Forum, Patron of the Christian Mothers, St Martin’s Catholic Church, Sapele, Vice Chairman, Sapele Denary, Adviser, Laity Council, St Martin’s Catholic Church, Treasurer, Diocesan Caretaker Laity Council, Warri Diocesan and Treasurer, Diocesan Laity Council, Warri Diocesan.

“Mrs. Victoria Ebireri Unubreme, 65 was caring, sociable and religious. She stood out in giving and service” the priest said.

The chairman of Sapele Saw-millers Association, member, St Ita’s old girls association and banker died on Friday, November 17, 2017 in Benin.

“It is a great loss to the family. It is still unbelievable to me. We are talking about someone who already has contributed so much to the Sapele-Okpe community and had so much to contribute” an Okpe leader said.
