Chief John Obukowho Nani, the Executive Director of Finance and Administration of DESOPADEC addressing his party’s followers in Jesse on the aftermath of the PDP’S primaries that has been concluded.
SAPELE/Nigeria: The grand patron of Aghwemutuwevwi political Forum (APF), Chief Barr John Obukohwo Nani, has collapsed his senatorial Campaign Oganisation structure across Delta Central into his Aghwemutuwevwi political Movement.
The Peoples Democratic party PDP pressure group, (APF), which has been singled out as a formidable grassroot Movement across Delta Central and beyond, has been adjudged as a reference point, being a platform under which PDP in Delta Central has reached out largely to numerous youths in Delta Central and beyond, owing to the youths belief, on the ability of the founder of APF, Chief Nani, to carry the grasroot people along politically.
The Executive Director of Finance and Administration, (EDFA) Desopadec, Barr. Nani, told the party faithfuls that Chief Ighoyota Amori has made frantic effort to consult him on the need for APF to support him in wining his Senatorial election.
He however insisted, that Senator Amori should wait until he officially meet and address the body , on their next line of action to deliver PDP all round and appreciates them specially first, for forming such a formidable structure behind him in Delta Central Senatorial district, before fixing a date for Senator Amori to consult with them.
Nani was particularly happy on the overwhelming show of support for him by the entire Delta Central delegates and people, during the just concluded PDP primary in Sapele township stadium, Delta Central Senatorial district.
The former commissioner for environment and a one time Honourable Member who represented Ethiope West local government area at the Delta State House of Assembly and the Aghwemutuwevwi of Urhobo Nation, lambasted Mr Peter obi for decieving unsuspecting public of Nigeria, over his alleged savings of 75 billion naira of Anambra state fund into his Fidelity Bank account, which is at the expence of Anambra state, people and development, just to satisfy his avaricious selfish tendency for personal reasons, of enhancing the expansion of his fidelity bank, where he kept the money.
He averred that when the time is ripe, PDP leaders will speak, while urging the public especially Deltans not to be misled, but be mindful of people with sugar coated tongues for them not to play on their sensitivity, noting that it is only Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Senator Dr ifeanyi Arthur Okowa ticket , that can guarantee Nigeria her dream for industrilisation/peace like the middle East and bring the much needed change, needed to place Nigeria in the place of pride among comity of Nations and enhance the development of South south, south east and Delta State people in particular.
The Erudite Lawyer, Chief Nani, opined further that Northern Nigeria are not as power hungry as people may think, because, to every political parties, are varied operational constitutions, zoning formula and guidelines.
He added that, since the presidency power has been in the south for the past 14 years with PDP, under the leadership of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo 8 years and Dr Goodluck Jonathan 6 years tenures respectively, it is only fair and equitable as a party, for PDP to zone their next presidential flag bearer to Northern Nigeria, since PDP is not operating the same constitution with APC.
The legal luminary insisted that it may be morally right for APC to zone their presidencial flag bearer to the south, under their party constitution, since upon the completion of President Buhari’s eight years tenure, it is fair and equitable flowing from APC constitution to consider power to the South, which is not a big deal,
But then, their choice of presidential candidate and running mate, is least expected , since it is unthinkable for both their Presidential and vice presidential candidate to emerge from the same relegion and faith, which can provoke Nigeria christains against them, especially in the wake of rumours of islamisation allegation, against the APC led government.
The PDP Chieftain reiterated that Neither Peter Obi nor Ahmed Tinubu, is a match to Atiku / Okowa ticket, to guaranttee them victory in 2023 election, but that Atiku/ Okowa, will win with wide margin.
Speaking further, Nani, describes his boss senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, as a quiet achiever, who knows how to get what he needed at every given time, as a result of his vast political knowledge and awareness.
The pioneer publicity secretary of PDP Delta State, said that The Party’s reason for asking him to surrender victory to Amori, at the just concluded Senatorial primary, was a Devine wish from God , since God plan is always better and bigger.
He remarked that his Senatorial ambition is nothing compared to Senator Okowa vice presidential ambition, or Oborevwori’s Governorship Ambition, which are more better for the State since politics is a game of give and take.
Nani affirmed that any political party candidate or flag bearer who still keeps animosity over people who did not vote for them during party primaries, are not politicians.
He commended Atiku and the National PDP leadership for their choice of Okowa as a running mate.
Chief Nani assured that PDP shall win in a landslide under Atiku Okowa ticket, since their team is a perfect combination of prudent managers of men and resources.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Chief Nani Campaign Organisation Chief Moses Ogodo, on behalf of the body pledged her commitment to the advancement of the political structure / Movement of Chief John Nani, explaining that his chances of becoming a future Senator or higher political office holder in the district and Nigeria, is very bright, considering his young age and humane disposition that has earned him, so much respect, being a man of the people.
Dignitaries present at the event include, the National Coodinator Of Aghwemutuwevwi political Forum Engr Ochuko Gbeburu, Chief Peace Aghomi, Chief William Nani, Chief Emmanuel and all LGA Co-odinators of the body from Delta Central amongst others.
