LAGOS/Nigeria: The Senator Representing Delta North in the Senate of the Federal republic of Nigeria, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi had met with Ndokwa community in Lagos, where he interacted with them on his activities at the National Assembly.
The Distinguished Senator while addressing the people thanked the leadership of Ndosimili Development Union, NDU and Ukwuani Foundation Union, UFU for the enormous support given to him during the campaign.
He used the occasion to address quite a number of issues in the National Assembly most importantly the challenges in his constituency and quite a number of Bills he sponsored.
He noted that Ndokwa community is like a man living in the Niger but wash his hands with spittle with a promise that it wouldn’t be so anymore.
“Ndokwa is oil producing community hosting the largest gas plant in West Africa and it is expected that they should benefit from the scheme of things “.
The issue of road and electricity problems among other things affecting Ndokwa nation were addressed by the Senator.
He requested of the Ndokwa nation to articulate the most important of the needs of their communities and channel to him while promising to attend to them to the best of his capacity.
He would further promised the people of the area that before the expiration of his current tenure, they will boast of at least 21 quality roads influenced by him.
The event which was held at Swiss International Hotel, Ajao Estate Lagos, had High Chief Johnson PG NNU, Commodore Robin Osasa (rtd) Ken Okolugbo, a delegation from Ukwuani Society led by Chiefs E. K. E. Echigeme and Gold Nzete, a delegation of Ndokwa Women’s Association, Ndokwa Wives and Daughters Association ,members of NDU and UFU.
