A political pressure group, Delta Vision 2015, Ndokwa East Chapter has added her voice to the call on the political adviser to Governor (Delta North) Hon. Omordi George Ugboma to join the race of 2015 gubernatorial election in Delta state. The call is contained in a communiqué issued at the end of an enlarged meeting of the group at Aboh, Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta state.
However, in a motion moved by the leader of the group, a former leader of the Ndokwa East legislative arm and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon.Barr.Victor Ogbuefi Mbanugo. The group noted that after due consultations and considerations of all the Governorship aspirants from Delta North senatorial district, the Ndokwa East Chapter of Delta Vision 2015,has resolved to call on Hon. Omordi George Ugbomah to join the governorship race and contest because of his antecedents, pedigree and wealth of experience both in private and public endeavours. The group opined that it was not by chance but by sheer providence that Hon.Omordi George Ugbomah has been strategically and consistently involved in the governance of Delta state since 2003, adding that God was nurturing him for greater task ahead.
While lauding,Hon.Omordi George Ugbomah for his meritorious services to Delta state and love for humanity which they noted is simply legendary, they opined that Hon.Omordi George Ugbomah occupies an exceptional position in the gallery of politicians from the Ndokwa nation and beyond, to them, the best way the political Adviser(Delta North)can show gratitude to God and justify his numerous investments on him in terms of knowledge, experience in governance and administration; right
temperament,humility,accessibility,versatility,determination and hardwork is by heeding the clarion call and offering himself for service to Delta state come 2015.
The Delta Vision 2015 of Ndokwa East Chapter affirmed that though Delta North parades avalanche of experienced and qualified sons and daughters that are involved in the race to Delta state government house but maintained that they have decided to support Hon.Omordi George Ugbomah because he is the best among the best. They urged Deltans who are committed to the vision of a greater and more prosperous Delta state to ignore sentiments individual political loyal or group affinity and support their noble aspiration, while assuring that such huge political sacrifice and burden would yield positive results and ensure greater dividend of Democracy for the greatest majority.
The group also noted that by virtue of Ugbomah’s calm miem,humility and peaceful disposition,has tremendious capacity to sustain the peace agenda of the present administration and build brdges across the various ethnic nationalities in Delta state.They described Hon.Ugboma G.O.as a committed and loyal party man who has served his party,the Peoples Democratic Party,faithfully and co-ordinated the party in Ndokwa East Local Government Area to several electorial victories.The group observed the Delta state governorship re-run election and the 2011 general election.
