OBIARUKU/Nigeria: The President General of Ndokwa nation, Chief Johnson Ossai Opone has embarked on sensitization campaign in Ndokwa land to ensure the completion of the eight years of Delta North as governor of Delta State.
The campaign titled ‘Ndokwa People Come out to Vote for Your Vote Must Count’, started from the Palace of the King of Ezionum Community, to Amai, Eziokpor, Umukwata, Ebedei, Akoku, Umutu and Obiaruku all in Ukwuani Local Government Area.
At each of the clan visited, the peoples of the community and their leaders agree to put aside all their difference and self interest but to be united on the day of election to vote enmasse for continuity of Governor Okowa.
The personalities on the encourage of the president general included all members of Ndokwa Development Union (NDU) Ndoshimili Development Union, Ukwani Foundation Union (UFU).
The campaign which went round all the communities in Ukwuani LGA today was geared towards mobilizing all the communities to come out to vote in en-block based on the mandate to return Governor Okowa for a second term
According to the president general, it is the turn of Delta North to complete its eight years tenure since other senatorial districts completed their first and second tenure.
The campaign continues tomorrow with communities in Ndokwa West while on Sunday will be the turn of Ndokwa East.
