Hon. Aneke Ifemeni
By Emmanuel Enebeli
A onetime majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly; Hon. Aneke Ifemeni had called on the people of Ndokwa to retrace their steps to occupy their rightful place in the government of Delta state and the nation.
How Ifemeni made this statement recently, when he spoke to Ndokwa Reporters at Asaba.
According to him the leadership attitude of the Ndokwa people, especially those elected or appointed had done more harm than good to the people as they go to beg for their personal improvement, rather than negotiate and ask for the good of the people.
Speaking further, he decried, the docile attitudes of the so called leaders, which has resulted in the external influences on the choices of chairmanship candidates in the 3 three local Government of Ndokwa Land during the party primaries and development that comes to the area, especially the inaction of the state government on the Ibabu Iselegu crises until the death of a professor, and lack of interest of the so called leaders to work for the people.
According to Hon. Ifemeni the only way to correct these Ndokwa anomalies is to ‘start afresh” and for the electorates in Ndokwa to “vote-in credible persons come 2015”, to represent them he concluded.
