Senator Ned Munir Nwoko

ASABA/Nigeria: Senator Ned Munir Nwoko has expressed profound appreciation to leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta North Senatorial District for the resounding success of the party meeting held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at his country home, Mount Ned Resort, Idumuje-Ugboko, Aniocha North Local Government Area.

In a statement released to newsmen, Nwoko said the massive turnout of APC stakeholders—including party leaders, women, youths, and socio-cultural groups—was overwhelming and a testament to the unity and strength of the party in the district. He commended the Delta North APC leadership for the foresight in hosting the periodic meeting, which he said fosters brotherhood and deepens progressive politics in the zone.

Nwoko noted the symbolic vote of confidence passed in President Bola Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and himself at the meeting, describing it as an unsolicited gesture that reflects widespread goodwill. He assured of his unwavering support for President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori in their quest for a better Nigeria and a more progressive Delta State.

While thanking the national and state leadership of the APC for their commitment to party growth, Nwoko lauded the presence of party leaders, former lawmakers, and other dignitaries who graced the occasion. He specifically appreciated the massive mobilisation by APC members across the nine local government areas of Delta North.

Addressing concerns raised by a handful of party chairmen, Nwoko dismissed the complaints as inconsequential, noting that the overwhelming majority’s endorsement of the meeting’s success speaks louder than isolated dissenting voices. He urged all stakeholders to remain focused on building a stronger, united APC in Delta and beyond.

“As a democrat and brother, I call on those few to join hands with us in advancing our collective goal of a vibrant, peaceful party that reflects the vision of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda,” Nwoko said, reaffirming his dedication to the service of the people of Delta North.
