Ned Nwoko Urges Religious Tolerance, National Reconciliation at Eid-El-Fitr

ABUJA/Nigeria: Antarctica explorer and Chancellor of the proposed STARS University Idumuje-Ugboko, Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko has called for religious harmony and national reconciliation amongst all Nigerians as Muslims mark Eid-El -Fitr.

Prince Nwoko, in a Statement at Abuja, described the Islamic festival as period of the year when Muslims return to Allah in prayers and supplications for purity of life, peace and development.

He urged Muslims to take the sanctity of Eid-El-Fitr seriously to reap the benefits of holy service from God.

The former member of House of Representatives, said spirit of patriotism based on divine prayers and obedience to God would save the Nation from the current challenges of insecurity and economic constraints, troubling the land.

Nwoko, a Muslim tasked every Nigerian irrespective of tribe and religion to make sacrifice with devotion to God for a change of attitude that would restore security, unity of purpose and enduring development.

“My fervent belief is that this is the time to seek the face and mercy of the Almighty with sacrifices of perseverance, love and good neighborliness in our national life. We must not lose hope. We must keep believing and trusting in God for a peaceful nation strengthened by economic turnaround. A season of revival that will mainstream a new Nigeria and eventful world where peace and order will reign.

“I congratulate Muslims on this solemn occasion. I wish all Nigerians God’s eternal blessings, protection and favour as we celebrate this year’s Eid-El-Fitr sallah”. Nwoko stated.
