The Niger Delta Avengers (NDA), on Wednesday revealed that despite heavy security in the region they have destroyed Chevron Oil Well RMP 23 and RMP 24.
The Avengers via its official twitter handle @NDAvengers said: “With the heavy presence of 100 Gunboats, 4 Warships and Jet Bombers NDA blew up Chevron Oil Well RMP 23 and RMP 24 3:44am this Morning.”
The militant further said that the RMP 24 and RMP 23 are Chevron Swamp Highest producing Wells adding that the Nigeria Military is good in harassing innocent civilians.
“This is to show the whole world that Nigeria Military is good in harassing innocent Civilians. RMP 24 and RMP 23 are Chevron Swamp Highest producing Wells.”
This is the second time the militant are carrying such operation without the Nigerian Military intercepting the attacks.
Meanwhile, the Federal Government on Tuesday deployed about five warships, 100 gunboats, and fighter jets to the creeks of the Niger Delta.
The deployment of machineries is to stop the on-going bombing of oil and gas pipelines by the NDA.
