ASABA/Nigeria: The Nigerian Army has announced the commencement of the online registration for recruitment into its 77th Regular Recruit Intake for 2018.
The recruitment, which is for Trades and Non-Tradesmen and Women categories commenced since Friday, December 29, 2017 and will end on Friday, February 9, 2018.
According to a statement signed by the Director of Information, Mr Paul Osahor, interested persons from Delta State origin are advised to visit and apply online at Nigerian Army’s Recruitment Portal, http://recruitment.army.mil.ng.
The statement also advised applicants to apply only once warning that multiple on-line applications would be disqualified.
It further said that all applicants applying for Non-Tradesmen and Women must possess a minimum of four (4) credits in not more than two (2) sittings in WASCE, NECO or NABTEB, emphasizing that one of the credits must be in English Language.
For applicants applying for the Tradesmen and Women, the statement said that they must also possess OND/Trade Test/City and Guild Certificate.
It clarified that applicants must be between the ages of 18–22 years for Non-Tradesmen and Women while Tradesmen and Women must be between the ages of 18 – 26 years both by September 1, 2018.
It emphasized that all applicants, who must be Nigeria citizen by birth, must be medically, physically, psychologically fit and must not be less than 1.68 metres tall for males and 1.62 metres for females.
