ASABA/Nigeria: The Delta State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), has congratulated its Chairman and Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Chief Patrick Ukah, on his re-appointment as Commissioner and member of the State Executive Council.
According to a statement signed by the General Secretary of the Delta State Chapter of the NIPR, Mr Godfery Osakwe, the institute expressed delighte at the effort of Chief Ukah to bring back professionalism and best practices among information officers in the State Civil Service and Communication Managers in other sectors of the state economy, through the certification for membership of NIPR.
The institute acknowledged that the feats would not have been made possible without the unwavering support and encouragement from Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, saying the governor graciously accorded Chief Ukah the opportunity while serving as Commissioner for Information.
The NIPR also congratulated all other appointees, whom it said were carefully selected to serve the people of Delta State and pray God to give them strength and wisdom to work in synergy and sustain the tempo with the governor to deliver on the vision of a stronger Delta with qualitative, all-inclusive and sustainable social and economic development.
