NIPR President Urges Implementation of Citizens Summit Recommendations for National Rebirth

ABUJA/Nigeria: On World PR Day, Mallam Mukhtar Zubairu Sirajo, FNIPR, President and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), has urged professionals in the field to prioritize trust, truth, and transparency. As celebrations honored the accomplishments of PR practitioners worldwide, Sirajo emphasized the significance of analyzing trends and positively influencing policies.

Commending the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations for its unwavering commitment to the ideals of World PR Day, Sirajo particularly highlighted the influential role played by the Citizens Summit for National Integration, Peace, and Security. Held in August last year, this groundbreaking event aimed to rebuild trust within the nation through inclusive dialogue among Nigerian citizens.

The upcoming public presentation of the Citizens Summit Report, scheduled for July 18, 2023, is anticipated to be a turning point in Nigeria’s journey towards revitalization.
