Political appointees from Ndokwa nationality have affirmed their continuous supports for the present government in Delta State led by Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa.
The political appointees made this known on Saturday 11 of November, 2015 in Obiaruku, administrative headquarters of Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta state, during a reception organised by the Ndokwa Christian Congress (NCC).
Speaking on behalf of the political appointees, Bishop Greatman Nmalagu, Executive Assistant to the governor on Religious Matters said that they will not in any way disappoint the people of Ndokwa as they are there to represent the interests of the Ndokwa people at all time, and because of prayers of all Ndokwa sons and daughters, especially the NCC, they will ensure that the dividend of good governance gets to the people of Ndokwa.
The aide to the governor told the Christian leaders in Ndokwa that the political appointees from Ndokwa working with His Excellency, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa will continue their support for him, and urged them to continue to pray for them to succeed in their various assignments, given to them by the governor.
Earlier, the President of the NCC, Rev. Dickson Ozah has called on Ndokwa political office holders to be united always speak with one voice while dealing with the issues that may affect the Ndokwa people.
Other political appointees present in the occasion were, Hon. Ochor Chris Ochor, Executive Director Social Services Development, on the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, (DESOPADEC) Ukwuani, Delta State Commissioner for Water Resources, , Hon Humphrey Uzuakpondu, Special duties Assistant to the governor, Hon. Basil Ishiekwene, Special Assistant to the governor on Security Matters.
