The newly appointed Executive Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Religious Matters,Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has urged Deltans to support the administration of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa to deliver the promised prosperity for all Deltans, as defined in the SMART agenda, even as he has pledged to ensure that his office would add greater value to the administration, as he consolidates on the achievements of his predecessor.
Bishop Nmalagu, while thanking the Governor for appointing him, made these assertions on resumption to the staff of his vision and direction as he assumes the portfolio of Executive Assistant, called on all religious bodies and groups in the state, to give their maximum support to the administration of Governor Okowa, in order to foster the peaceful co-existence of all groups in the state.
“This office stands for good, unity, good governance and peace and i urge all religious bodies, Christians, Moslems and Traditionalists, to support the administration of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, the Governor that God has given us in Delta state, so as to bring prosperity to all Deltans and ensure a peaceful state for all of us”
He then thanked Senator Okowa for the confidence and trust reposed in his ability to deliver on the new responsibility and called on the staff to join hands with him to run the office effectively.
Responding on behalf of the staff, Mr. Friday Abanum, the Assistant Chief Admin Officer and Director, extolled the leadership qualities of Bishop Greatman Nmalagu as a well deserved, even as he hailed the appointment as well deserved and a further confirmation of the
visionary leadership of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa. He then assured the full support of the staff to the new Executive Assistant on Religious affairs and promised that all hands would be on deck to ensure that the office delivers on its mandate under the administration of Bishop Nmalagu Greatman.
