The Ndokwa Neku Union, NNU had failed to endorse any of the gubernatorial candidates running for the Delta State 2015 election in a recent meeting held at Afor, Ndokwa East LGA.
The meeting which was called to deliberate on the forthcoming general election and the official inauguration of the youth wing of the social cultural organisation deliberated extensively on the election and the stand of the Ndokwa Nation.
The meeting which was well attended by those invited, took a decision not to endorse any of the candidates in the race because officially the body had not been informed that they are running for the election, Further pressure to endorse the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa as the candidate of the Ndokwa people failed.
However, the meeting endorsed President Goodluck Jonathan of the PDP as the candidate for the Ndokwa people and encouraged all Ndokwa sons and daughters to vote massively for him, come February 14, 2014.
On the sanctions of some of Ndokwa sons and daughters by the people of Ndokwa, the meeting says until the culprits shows signs of remorse, the sanctions remains, but concluded that the doors of NNU is open for dialogue.
Meanwhile, after a long time the NNU Youth Wing has been inaugurated with Mr Marcus Enudi elected the Interim President-General.

Treasurer-Kenneth Ugo Okpue.
Pedro Chibuzo Obi.
The new youth EXCO is to run for one year, and end as the national executive is winding up, and the interim president will not contest election after one year.
With the inauguration of the youth EXCO, the NNU has fully established its national organ to efectivelly run the body as the women wing was recently inaugurated with Prof Joy Ogwu of Delta State University elected the Women Wing Leader.
