WARRI/Nigeria: The National Orientation Agency (NOA), Warri South Local Government Area, has held a sensitization and enlightenment campaign on the protection of National symbols today 7th September, 2018.
The Chief Orientation and Mobilization Officer Mrs Julie O.E fejuku, while speaking to some members of War Against Indiscipline (WAI) Brigade Command, said protect and respect for national symbols was paramount, stressing that they unites us as a nation
Mrs Efejuku while urging all to carry out their duties with pride and dignity, said the agency was established by the Federal Government to take government policies and programs to the grassroots.
She said that the War Against Indiscipline Brigade Command was one of the Agency’s foot soldiers who systematically assist the Agency to impact discipline at the grassroots.
According to her, “The agency was set for the 2018 National Ordinance Day celebration, which is observed 16th September every year nationwide. It is to encourage all Nigerians to imbibe the culture of celebrating our nation’s uniqueness, identity and accomplishment.”
She listed the national symbols to include the National Flag, National Anthem, the National Pledge, the Naira, the National identity card, the Coat of Arms and National Passport.
