ASABA/Nigeria: Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi has been described as a man with the pedigrees to rule Delta State. This was said recently by the former Deputy Governor, Chief Benjamin Elue during Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi’s consultation visit. The former Deputy Governor said that Olorogun Gbagi has what it takes to govern Delta State adding that he was ready to support Gbagi to realize his ambition, pointing out that he is towing the line of equity and justice.
Chief Elue praised him for kick starting his consultation very early saying that the Urhobo nation is strong political machinery, advising him to use the platform of his ambition to keep PDP in oneness.
In his words “Nobody can say that Gbagi cannot be governor of Delta State with all his pedigrees. I believe that Gbagi is a bold man. Gbagi will bring his business tactics and styles to bear if eventually he becomes the Governor of Delta State come 2023.
Earlier, Olorogun Gbagi said that they started PDP together from day one as one family, while praising the formerDeputy Governor as a humane and peaceful man who served the state very well.
He eulogized and recognized Governor Okowa as his political leader adding that he, Okowa is a detribalized Governor who is committed to developing every nook and cranny of the State. The former Education Minister pleaded with the former Deputy Governor to anoint him for the position of governor comes 2023 to enable him continue with the Okowa developmental stride in the state.
