ASABA/Nigeria: Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC Delta State Command have been charged to redouble its efforts in the fight against crime and criminality in the State, particularly the Oshimili South Local Government Metropolis.
Protection of life and property is cardinal to my Administration, I am committed to ensuring that every life and property under my constituency are safe and protected.
The charge was given by the Executive Chairman of the Oshimili South Local Government Area Hon Dr Obi kelvin Ezeyili when he received the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Dsc Emeka Peters Okwechime in his office in Asaba the administrative headquarters of Oshimili South Local Government.
In his remark, the Chairman Oshimili South Council Boss, Hon Dr Obi Kelvin Ezeyili discribed the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps as a force to reckon with. Hon Ezeyinli used the opportunity to urge the NSCDC to fortify Security apparatus within and outside the State Capital
The Oshimili South LGA Boss, promised to provide the necessary logistics, supports needed to ensure that the agency functions maximally within the locality.
In his response, the State Public Relations Officer of the NSCDC DSC Emeka Peters Okwechime, commended Hon Ezenyili for his pragmatic leadership styles, commitment and contributions towards security in the protection of life and property of his constituent.
The NSCDC Image Maker, said that his boss, the State Commandant of the NSCDC Akinsanya Iskilu Abiodun is passionately committed in the fight against crime and criminality and maintaining peace and order and his boss is proud of you for your exemplary leadership, despite being the youngest Local Chairman in modern history whose attributes are worthy of emulation.
While presenting the score card of the NSCDC, DSC Okwechime said that the agency has walked it talks in the fight against crude oil theft, pipeline vandalism, unregister privated guard security out fits and a host of others in the State.
The hallmark of the visit was the presentation of the NSCDC Mandates to the Oshimili Council boss Hon Dr Obi Kelvin Ezeyili , the Leader of the Oshimili South Legislative Arm, Hon Micheal Okonji , and the Head of Personnel Management HPM, Mrs Chidima Idaho.
