ABUJA/Nigeria: Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District, has joined millions of Muslims across Nigeria and the world to celebrate the sacred festival of Eid el-Kabir, extending warm greetings and goodwill to all observing the occasion.
In his Eid message, Senator Nwoko described the festival as a profound reminder of the values of faith, sacrifice, and obedience embodied by Prophet Ibrahim (AS). He urged Nigerians to embrace the spirit of the season by fostering unity, compassion, and peace in their communities and across the nation.
“Eid el-Kabir reminds us of the powerful example set by Prophet Ibrahim — a symbol of unwavering faith and total submission to the will of God,” the senator stated. “This celebration offers a moment of reflection, a call to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, and a chance to renew our commitment to building a harmonious and inclusive society.”
Highlighting ongoing development efforts in Delta North, Senator Nwoko reaffirmed his dedication to delivering projects that directly improve the lives of constituents. He noted that investments in infrastructure, education, and healthcare remain at the core of his legislative and constituency agenda.
“In Delta North, we continue to work hard to deliver impactful projects that touch lives and enhance communities. I remain deeply committed to this cause,” he said.
As part of his message, the senator also called on Nigerians to remember the less privileged during the festive period and to lend support to those in need.
“While we celebrate, let us not forget those who are facing economic hardship or personal trials. Extending a hand of kindness is one of the true meanings of Eid,” Nwoko noted.
He concluded with a heartfelt wish for peace, joy, and blessings during the Sallah festivities.
“From my family to yours, I wish you a blessed and joyous Eid el-Kabir. Eid Mubarak!” he declared.
The senator’s message was widely shared alongside a commemorative flyer, emphasizing his continued connection with constituents and his respect for the diversity of religious and cultural traditions across Delta North and Nigeria.
