ABUJA/Nigeria: Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on his 62nd birthday, describing him as a leader on course in delivering good governance to the state.
In a goodwill message issued from Abuja, Senator Nwoko celebrated the governor’s life as “phenomenal,” noting that his six decades have been marked by divine grace and unwavering dedication to service.
Nwoko praised Oborevwori as a humble, tenacious, and courageous leader who, against the odds, rose through the ranks as a community leader, businessman, politician, and administrator to become governor of Delta State.
“I note with admiration his humane yet resilient character. Rising to occupy the office of governor is a monumental feat in a complex, multi-ethnic state like Delta. Today, he is making sincere efforts to serve the people through the provision of vital social infrastructure and human capital development, in line with his M.O.R.E Agenda and the Renewed Hope vision of the president,” Nwoko stated.
The senator prayed for God’s continued guidance for the governor, wishing him wisdom, good health, and discernment to steer Delta State towards inclusive growth and unity.
