ASABA/Nigeria: The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the Batch B Stream 1 passing out parade will take place from May 31 to June 13, 2023, across all 36 states of Nigeria. This information was revealed in a statement signed by the Director-General of the scheme, Brigadier General YD Ahmed, following extensive consultations with stakeholders at various levels of the organization. The announcement was made on May 21, 2023.
According to the statement, employers are instructed to release Batch B1 corps members from their duties by May 28. Additionally, job awareness events will be held at the local government level on May 31.
The clearing of corps members and the signing of final clearance forms by the Zonal Inspector will commence on June 3 and conclude on June 4.
Brigadier General Ahmed urged the outgoing corps members to continue prioritizing national unity and service even as they conclude their tenure.
