KWALE/Nigeria: The Chairman of Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Godday Obi Nzete, has charged members of the vigilante group to be more vigilant in their fight against crimes in kwale and its environs.
Chief Nzete gave the charged during an interactive meeting with members of the group in his office at kwale, Ndokwa West Local Government secretariat.
The local government boss said that the activities of criminals, hoodlums and cultists in the locality were becoming unbearable, adding that the negative trend must not be allowed to continue.

He went further to state that most perpetrators of the crime in the community were unguided and mischievous youths that resided in the area , adding that members of the vigilante group should daily patrol round the locality and fish out the criminals and assured the group of his support.
The leader of the group, Mr. Mike Ogbechi, thanked the chairman for granting them audience, saying that the group had not done badly in the past.
He stated some of the challenges facing the group to include shortage of manpower, patrol vehicle, torchlights and locally made weapons (guns) and appealed for their provision.
