Obiaruku ITC Centre commissioned

Set of Computers at the I.C.T Center

Information and Comminication Technology (ITC) Centre, valued N40 Million built by the Commissioner representing Ndokwa Nation Sir, Ken Okolugbo via DESOPADEC at  Obiaruku Grammar School, Obiaruku, has been commissioned .

Commissioning the I.T.C  centre at Obiaruku Grammar School Obiaruku headquarters of Ukauwnu Local Government Area of Delta State on April, 2014 the chairman of the Board of DESOPADEC,  Oritsua Kpogho who was represented at the Occasion by the member representing Urhobo nation in DESOPADEC, Chief Christopher Ominimini Obieuwbi, said, “the building  of this I.T.C centre will go along way to impact and expose students in Ukwuani Local Government Area into computer world. Whereby computer literacy will be totally wiped out, adding  that the impact of the I.T.C will no doubt help the future generation to achieve their developmental goals, pointing out that the benefit that will be received from this training will in fact bear many years to come.”

Stressing further, the DESOPADEC Chairman said, “I went to primary and secondary schools., I never had the opportunity of ever seeing a computer, but today, Sir Okolugbo has brought computer to the door step, which students, pupils and people will begin to know what is computer appreciation and for those of us who are into management consultants will equally know that the role of computer is the overall development in terms of business process management”.

Kpogho noted that the impact that is going to be gotten from these projects in the next 20 years will be manifesting to the people of Ndokwa Nationalities and that is while this project is sequrnor.

In his speech, Sir Ken Okolugbo thanks the state governor for giving DESOPADEC the enabling environment to perform.

Other who appreciated the kind gesture of Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan and Sir. Ken Okolugbo are the principal of Obiaruku Grammar School, Mrs. B.A Otono, the permanent Secretary Post Primary Education Board Kwale Zone, Mrs. Ogbolu J.E and the Senior prefect of Obiaruku Grammar School, Master Ossai Sunday.
