
ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff F. O. Oborevwori, has approved the appointment of two new Permanent Secretaries in the Delta State Civil Service.
The appointees are Mr. Okunbor Innocent Victor, who has been named Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Accountant-General, and Engr. (Mrs.) Aboloje Juliet Chukwulozie, appointed Permanent Secretary in the Directorate of Highways.
The appointments were contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu.
According to the statement, the two newly appointed Permanent Secretaries will be sworn in on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the Government House, Asaba.
The development is part of the Oborevwori administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the state’s civil service through strategic appointments aimed at enhancing efficiency, accountability and service delivery across key sectors of government.
The Governor urged the appointees to bring their wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of their duties and to remain committed to the principles of professionalism, transparency and dedication in advancing the state’s development agenda.
The swearing-in ceremony is expected to be attended by top government officials, civil servants and other stakeholders.
