
ASABA/Nigeria: Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle involving four commissioners, alongside the nomination of three prominent individuals into the Governing Council of the Delta State University.
The cabinet reshuffle, which takes immediate effect, sees Engr. Michael Ifeanyi Anoka redeployed from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal to the Ministry of Energy, while Hon. Sunday Tataobuzogwu moves from the Ministry of Energy to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal. Mrs. Rose Ezewu has been reassigned from the Ministry of Secondary Education to the Ministry of Primary Education, while Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu is transferred from the Ministry of Primary Education to the Ministry of Secondary Education.
The development was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Secretary to the State Government, Kingsley Eze Emu, who explained that the redeployment of the commissioners takes immediate effect.
In a related development, Governor Oborevwori has also approved the nomination of Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie Agas, Rt. Hon. Frank Enekorogha and Mr. Charles Ajuyah, SAN, as members of the Governing Council of Delta State University, Abraka.
According to the statement, the date for the inauguration of the newly nominated Governing Council members will be announced in due course.
