ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm greetings to Muslims in Delta State and across Nigeria as they join the global Islamic community in celebrating Eid-el-Kabir.

In a Sallah message released by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba on Friday, the Governor urged Muslims to uphold the virtues of sacrifice, love, and unity as exemplified by Prophet Mohammed. He described Eid-el-Kabir as a season of deep spiritual reflection, compassion, and peaceful coexistence.

“As you celebrate, let us remember to be our brothers’ keepers by fostering peaceful co-existence among ourselves, irrespective of ethnic or religious backgrounds,” the Governor said, calling on Nigerians to embrace the true spirit of Eid by showing love and support to one another.
