Oborevwori Fulfilling Promises Through MORE Agenda, Says Deputy Governor Onyeme

ATLANTA/USA: Delta State Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA, has declared that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is clinically delivering on his electoral promises through the administration’s MORE Agenda.

Onyeme, who is on a brief holiday in the United States, made the remark at the weekend while addressing members of the Delta State community in Atlanta during a reception held in his honour.

The Deputy Governor, accompanied by his wife, Ezinne Catherine Onyeme, highlighted the Oborevwori administration’s commitment to providing durable infrastructure and strengthening human capital development across the state. He cited the impressive construction of roads and bridges, as well as ongoing efforts to extend electricity supply to Ndokwa nation, as clear evidence of the governor’s performance.

Members of the Atlanta community commended Onyeme for his humility and openness in engaging them on issues concerning Delta State. In recognition of his visit, Chief Paul Okoku, a member of Nigeria’s 1984 Super Eagles squad that won silver at the African Cup of Nations, presented him with a token gift.

Other notable members of the community in attendance included Professor Juliet Elu of Morehouse College, Chief Collins Odinjor and his wife Alero, Mr. Raymond Ekurhare, Chief Emeka Chimekwene, Mr. Frederick Ogodo and his wife Henrietta, Attorney Ani and his wife Christabel, Mr. Valentine Egbune, Ms. Ndidi Ogwu, Dr. Gerald Dariah (MD), and Mr. Ejiro Ineneji. The reception was hosted by Mr. Kingsley Dike and his wife, Tilda, at their residence.
