ASABA/Nigeria: The Senior Policy Adviser to the Delta State Governor on SERVICOM and Labour Relations, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, has applauded Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for what he described as the remarkable achievements recorded by the administration within its first three years in office, saying the governor’s development strides have transformed communities and strengthened public confidence in governance.
Assessing the performance of the Oborevwori administration as it marks its third anniversary, Solomon said the effective implementation of the MORE Agenda has continued to drive meaningful development across Delta State, delivering tangible benefits to residents through strategic projects and people-oriented policies.
According to him, Governor Oborevwori has demonstrated purposeful leadership and an unwavering commitment to the advancement of Delta State through initiatives that have positively impacted the lives of citizens.
He particularly commended the administration’s massive investment in infrastructure, citing the construction of flyovers in key urban centres as well as ongoing road construction and rehabilitation projects designed to improve transportation, reduce traffic congestion and stimulate economic activities across the state.
“The level of infrastructural renewal taking place across Delta State is commendable. From flyover projects to road construction and rehabilitation, the administration is creating an enabling environment for economic growth and improved living standards,” Solomon stated.
The former lawmaker also highlighted the government’s achievements in youth empowerment, human capital development, workers’ welfare and grassroots governance, noting that the administration has consistently placed the welfare and aspirations of Deltans at the heart of its policies and programmes.
He observed that the gains recorded so far have not only enhanced public trust in government but have also positioned Delta State on a stronger path of socio-economic growth, stability and sustainable development.
Solomon urged Deltans and political stakeholders across the state to continue supporting Governor Oborevwori beyond 2027, stressing that sustained backing for the administration would ensure the consolidation of ongoing developmental projects and accelerate the delivery of more dividends of democracy.
According to him, “Sustained support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori will help consolidate ongoing developmental projects and ensure continued peace, stability and progress across Delta State.”
He maintained that the MORE Agenda remains a strategic and practical blueprint for advancing meaningful development, expanding opportunities for citizens, implementing realistic reforms and enhancing peace and security across the state.
