ASABA/Nigeria: Children in country had been called to be good ambassadors of their parents and the society, as they celebrated the 2019, Children Day.
Making the call on Monday, May 27, 2019, the member-elect, Ukwuani State House of Assembly, Delta State, Hon. Christopher Ochor Ochor, while celebrating with the children.
In a statement, and goodwill of felicitation with the children he charged Children to be good ambassadors, to be obedient to parents, to be law abiding citizens, to shun cultism and other illegal acts but to be submissive to parents, have the fear of God at all times and to take their academics serious as readers are leaders.
Hon Ochor said May 27 every year had been set aside to celebrate the Children and to encourage them in all they do as Children are heritage of Christ.
He further admonish parents to be up and doing to ensure they give their children the best of the training they deserve in life as it is written “train up a child the way he should grow and when he grow, he will not depart from it”.
“May the good Lord continue to bless, protect and preserve our Children and grant them the supernatural wisdom to excel in all their endeavors this and many more I pray in Jesus name. Amen.” He concluded.
