ASABA/Nigeria: The member representing Ukwuani Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor has congratulated the Delta State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the new executive of the party who were elected to run the affairs of the party for the next four years.
The congress which was orderly organised and in a peaceful atmosphere, saw the return of the immediate past executive.
The Deputy Speaker in his reaction said that the party had once again demonstrated it can always get it right, called on the new executive to work towards the sustenance of the growth of the party in the state.
“I congratulate our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for a successful state Congress to elect a new executive to manage the affairs of the party for the next four years. I congratulate the new executive, and I urge them to sustain the strength, and growth of the party in the state. He said.
The Deputy Speaker also congratulated State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for his fatherly role he had always played to ensure unity amongst the party members, and resultant successful to the State Congress.
“I also thank and congratulate the State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for his fatherly role. He had always used his experiences to ensure there is unity of purpose in the party. And that is the unity we had witnessed in today’s Congress.’ He emphasised.
