ASABA/Nigeria: The Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ochor Christopher Ochor has congratulated the newly appointed General Manager of Delta Broadcasting Service, DBS Asaba, Mr Francis Whyte Osabohien as he prepares to resume duty.
In a personally signed congratulatory letter, Ochor eulogized the sterling professional leaning of the thoroughbred journalist, popularly known as Frankwhyte.
The lawmaker had maintained that Frankwhyte had been a dutiful journalist who had over the years distinguished himself in character and in the art of professional writing and broadcasting.
The Deputy Speaker equally commended the Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for looking indepth to make the appointment, adding that Frankwhyte having garnered impeccable experience on the job would not disappoint.
He however advised that having dutifully earned the promotion, Frankwhyte should serve as an inspiration for others to emulate.
Mr Francis Whyte Osabohien was before his appointment by the Delta State Governor, a Deputy General Manager in charge of News and Current Affairs.
He will be taking over from the retiring Mrs. Evelyn Binitie who has equally earned professional respect having served meritoriously for a couple of years.
The new GM is also an active member of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, and had in the past won an award as the Best Dressed Journalist in Delta State during the DEMA Award.
