Ochor Conveys Deepest Condolences on Passing of Delta State First Lady’s Mother

ASABA/Nigeria: In a heartfelt gesture of sympathy, the Immediate Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ochor Christopher Ochor, has expressed his deepest condolences to the family of the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, on the passing of Madam Ayetoma Agnes Ataga, the mother of Delta State’s First Lady, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori.

Rt. Hon Ochor conveyed his sympathies to Governor Oborevwori, his wife Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, and the entire Oborevwori family in a statement issued on Monday, September 4, 2023.

In his statement, he acknowledged the significant role that Madam Ayetoma Agnes Ataga played in shaping the values and principles that the First Lady upholds today. He emphasized her remarkable contributions to the welfare of the people, highlighting the enduring strength of family bonds that characterized her life.

“Madam Ayetoma Agnes Ataga’s life was a testament to the enduring strength of family bonds, and her legacy of love, compassion, and service will continue to inspire us all. In this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with Governor Oborevwori and his family, and we stand by them as they navigate this painful loss.”

In addition to offering condolences, Ochor called on the citizens of Delta State to join in offering their support to the grieving family. He encouraged unity and solidarity during such trying times, emphasizing the importance of coming together as a community to provide comfort and solace to those affected by this loss. He also offered prayers for the repose of the soul of the late Madam Ayetoma Agnes Ataga.

“On behalf of my family and associates, I pray for the soul of Madam Agness Ataga, as I also call on Deltans to join the first family at this trying time,” He stated.
