ASABA/Nigeria: The Late Member representing Ndokwa Nation, on the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Mr Ikechukwu Akozor had been described as a gentleman, with Ndokwa first as a representative by the Member Representing Ukwuani State Constituency, and Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ochor Christopher Ochor.
The Deputy Speaker stated this in a statement signed by his Press Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Enebeli on Saturday, September 4, 2021 in Asaba.
Hon Ochor stated that the death of Mr. Akozor was shocking, never expected for someone always full of life, and accommodating.
He further said that part of the Late Mr. Ikechukwu Akozor character was that of a grassroot individual who is always with his people, attending to their needs.
Stating further, he pointed out that as a representative of the people of Ndokwa on the Board of DESOPADEC, he showed resilience, and focused with Ndokwa First in mind.
“The Death of Mr. Ikechukwu Akozor, a brother was a shocking one. It was never expected, as we cannot determine when it comes.”
“Mr. Akozor, during his time on earth was a gentleman, grassroot man, and accommodating, who as a member of the board of DESOPADEC, was focused on delivering development values to the people of Ndokwa Nation, as he was resilience with the focused mission to attract the area.”
“On behalf of my Family, Political Associates, Aides and the people of Ndokwa nation, I condole with the family, and people of Ndokwa East.” He said.
