The Executive Director Social Services Development on the Board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, (DESOPADEC), Hon Ochor Christopher Ochor has commended security agents in Ukwuani LGA, and says he will continue to work with them in order to bring better services to the people.
Hon Ochor made the commendation recently during a breakfast meeting with security heads in the Local Government Area.
The former Transition Chairman of the LGA, said he could not thank the security operatives before leaving office which he noted was in no way forgetting their immense contributions to the maintenance of peace and security in the local government.
He commended the security agents for their response in combatting crime in the area and that the search on people has brought peace to the Local Government Area.
The DESOPADEC Executive Director also noted that the security gave him all the needed support during his time as council chairman and called on them to also support the present Ukwuani Council Boss.
Hon Ochor urged the people of Ukwuani to give information to the security agents for them to carry out their job very well, pointing out that the present leadership of DESOPADEC is ready to work hard to develop the state, along with the state government SMART agenda.
Reacting, some of the security agents at the breakfast meeting thanked Hon Ochor Ochor for the meeting and noted that the meeting was a welcome development and should be a regular one.
They used the medium to call on criminals still leaving in Ukwuani LGA to relocate or stop any criminal activities.
The breakfast meeting was attended by top officers from the police, NDLEA, Army, Road Safety, Immigrations, PCRC members, Nigerian Civil Defence Corps, the Vigilantes and others.
