UMUTU/Nigeria: The Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ochor C. Ochor had condoled with the former member of the Assembly, Hon (Dr.) Alphonsus Ojo on the demise of his father, Okwa Ojo Obianukor, who died at the age of 95.
Rt. Hon Ochor, in a condolence message to Dr. Alphonsus Ojo, stated that he join the people of Ndokwa Nation to mourn the passage of the Late Okwa Ojo Obianukor, who according to him, contributed his quota to the development of Umutu community.
He stated that the measure of life well lived is not in how much money one has or what possession they have accumulated, but rather through positive contributions they have left behind after they depart from this world.
He went further to state that the he will always remember the age long relation between his own father, and the later Okwa Ojo, which their bond of good partnership contributed immensely to the development of the community.
“His age long relationship with my own father, is a story I will always remember. Their bond of good partnership contributed immensely to the development of our community and this same friendship has kept my relationship with you.”
‘Papa was a man of honour, integrity, dependable and humble like my father and their partnership was always a support to Umutu course.”
He further described the late father of the former legislator, as a community leader, who has listening ear on issues. Which his departure, means true patriots of Umutu are gradually departing to the world beyond.”
He however said that though Okwa Ojo died an old man, and fulfiled he condole with the son and other family members, reminding them that it’s never easy to lose a loved one.
Okwa Ojo Obianukor was buried today, April 16, 2022, at his home in Umutu, Ukwuani Local Government Area.
