Hon Ochor Chris Ochor
The Executive Director, Social Services Development, on the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, (DESOPADEC), Hon Ochor Chris Ochor, has sent a message of peace and love to the people of Delta State, as the world celebrates Easter.
Hon Ochor said the death of Jesus Christ for the sake of mankind more than 2000 years ago is enough for Nigerians, especially Deltans as it was a death of love, peace for all man, and unity of purpose.
According to the Executive Director, for Christ to have given up his life for the sake of mankind, as pre-arranged by the creator himself, is a lesson to our current day leaders on sacrificing for their followers.
Hon Ochor, said that all the actions that led to the coming and the final death of Jesus Christ, is pattern of leadership that man must imbibe.
Ochor also implored the people of Delta state to pray for the country, especially when it comes to the improve the security and economy of the country, because according to him,
“When the economy and security of the state or country is gloomy, peace and love will not be in the country, and there will be no social and economic development”.
