WARRI/Nigeria: Nigerian youths have been tasked on exploiting their creativity in other to be gainfully employed.
The charge was made recently by the Executive Director, Social Services Directorate, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor during the one year anniversary of Cosmic Exquisite Concept Limited, Ekpan, Uvwie local Government Area, Delta state.
While congratulating the management of the company for their patience, and drive in growing the company to a house hold name in the state, he tasked them not to lose focus because of their one year success, as business growth cannot be measured by the celebration of it one year operation.
“Your success can only be measured after this one year, as their will be more challenges and new innovations that you need to measure up with”. He said.
He tasked them to more creative in their approach to business services, as a positive approach, devoured of illegal activities is a sign of good business approach.
Hon Ochor, used the opportunity to admonish youths in the country, especially Delta State to join hands together, using their individual skills and talents to create jobs, where they will add to the economy value of the society, as works for the teeming population will have to greatly come from the small business operators, especially with the recent economic recession that affected the country.
“Use your talents and contribute to the country’s economic development. The recent economic recession in the country, is a big lesson to everyone. The governments should not be the sole provider of jobs in the country”.
Earlier, the managing Director of the Company, Mr Harry Nwachukwu Chukwudi, in his address said that the company was formed by a group of friends, with interest in engineering to provide services to the people who will need efficient electrical services in the area of sales and maintenance.
