Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan
The Commissioner representing Ndokwa Nation on d board of DESOPADEC, sir Ken Okolugbo has appreciated the good works of his Excellency Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan especially for the democratic way he allowed the leaders in each of the twenty five local governments of the state to participate in the elections of the 3 ad hoc delegates per ward in each local government area.
The commissioner made the statement in a press release on Thursday November 13, 2014.
He described the Governor’s approach as alien in a time when most of the other states are crying of imposition of candidates.
He clearly urged all the aspirants to avail themselves of the opportunity given in canvassing for votes among the elected delegates to be able to emerge in each of the elections they are contesting for. He said it is most unfair for anyone to criticise his Excellency when he has gone over board to ensure the freest election in the history of electing delegates towards the electoral college of the PDP, recalling that was how each leader was able to produce atleast a councillor in the run up to the local government elections in the State.
As politicians we should all try to play by the rules of the game let us not try to b spoilers just because we were not able to hijack the process of nominations and subsequent elections of the delegates.
It is easier to destroy than build reason we should all adhere to the PDP election guideline to enable the party come out a lot stronger for the general elections
