Okowa Committed to Fulfilling Campaign Promises- Aniagwu

The chief press secretary to the Delta state Governor, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, has reaffirmed the commitment of the state Governor Dr Ifeanyi Okowa in    fulfilling campaign/electioneering promises as encapsulated in the Smart Agenda of this Administration.

Aniagwu disclosed this during an interactive session, with members of the Indigenous Newspapers/magazine chapel (INMC) in Asaba recently while stressing that pressuring the state government on employment when there are no vacancies, does not show any form of development at this time rather, creating an enabling platform, engaging youth, making them employers of labour will not only solve the issue of unemployment but also attract development to the state which; according to him is Paramount.

He also recounted some initiatives of the Governor; like the YAGEP, STEP just to mention but few, which are meant for job creation and youth empowerment in the state.

He also applauded his principal Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his practical measures of managing the resources of the state, which has led to enormous success of projects executed within the state as well as enhancing the wellbeing of Deltans, in spite of the economic challenges.

He further enjoined members of the Indigenous Newspapers/magazine chapel to maintain professionalism, Fairness when reporting programmes and activities of the state government.

Meanwhile the chairman of the INMC comrade Barth Ozah, had earlier commended the CPS for his unalloyed support and relationship with members of the chapel.
