WARRI/Nigeria: The infrastructural achievements of the Delta state government in the area of road construction that has earned him the accolade “the road master” has again been highlighted by a stake holder in the transport sector.
Speaking on the hills of governor Okowa’s second term victory, the chairman, Delta state consolidated emblem, drivers and conductors badge, Mr. Isamade Ossai Abada said he is sure that Deltans are in for a better four years ahead.
He scored the governor high on the standard as well as numerical strength of roads done across the state adding that the transport sectors have never had it this good.
Chairman, Delta state consolidated emblem, drivers and conductors badge, appreciated the governor for various completed and ongoing road constructions not only in Warri and environs but across the three senatorial district, noted that the recent out pour of commendations from Deltans was an attestation to the success story of governor Okowa in his first tenure.
In same vain, the chairman acknowledged the commitment of the transport commissioner, Mr. Vincent Uduaghan for what he termed a deliberate and planned monitoring and execution of the governor’s road projects to ensure they comply with internationally accepted standards to meet up with the test of times.
He also was of the opinion that kudos to given to the governor’s vibrant cabinet man Mr. Hilary Igbegbulem, stating that together they have made delta a hum of envy amongst its contemporary states.
He wished the governor the best for the second tenure, expressing the hope that the transport sector will have more robust dividends of democracy.
