BOMADI/Nigeria: The Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, have been commended for his rapid developmental strides in the state despite dwindling revenue receipts from the Federation Account.
This commendation was made by the pioneer President of Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide and former Commissioner for Culture and Ijaw Natural Affairs, Bayelsa State, Dr Felix Tuodolor, when he played host to members of Team lbori for Okowa 2019 at his country home in Bomadi town, Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State.
Dr. Tuodolor added that Senator Okowa has performed well that is why the likes of former Governor of the state, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, and other political leaders in the state are supporting him to get a 2nd term ticket in 2019.
He also applauded Chief James Ibori for the construction of the Bomadi Bridge which has made the town now accessible by road leading to improved economic activities in the town.
Dr. Tuodolor, who is the Special Adviser on NDDC to the Bayelsa State Governor, thumbed up for members of Team Ibori for Okowa 2019 for taking their time to go round sensitizing the general public and meeting with political leaders on how to re-elect Senator Okowa in 2019, promising to mobilize his supporters cut across the Ijaw nation in Delta State and diaspora to ensure that the Governor is victorious in 2019,
The state coordinator of the group, Hon. Edmond Guanah, who led members of the group, briefed Dr. Tuodolor on why people must support Senator Okowa’s re-election in 2019 and appealed to him to throw his support behind the Governor’s re-election bid since he is a grassroot mobilizer and has supporters that he can carry along to join the Okowa’s train.
The State Secretary of the group, Comrade Mathew Oji, presented the groups aims and objectives to the host while an Adviser of the group, Chief Felix Adanse, presented the group’s bulletin.
