ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, on Monday congratulated the National Vice Chairman, South South of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Bro. Emmanuel Ogidi on the occasion of his 62nd birthday anniversary on Monday May 28, 2018.
The Governor poured encomiums on the south-south PDP boss as a dedicated, loyal and capable leader whose commitment to the unity and advancement of the party remains incontestable.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Charles Aniagwu, the Governor said he joined Ogidi’s friends and political associates in celebrating his remarkable life of service.
The statement read in part, “On the happy occasion of Bro Ogidi’s 62nd birthday, Governor Okowa joins members of the PDP National Vice Chairman’s family, his friends and political associates across the country in celebrating his very remarkable life of service to his people and country”.
“The Governor commends the exemplary patriotism, selflessness and dedication to the progress and well-being of our party and country which Bro. Emmanuel Ogidi has demonstrated throughout his service to the state and country as a political leader”.
The Governor noted that his contributions as former State Chairman of the PDP remains indelible and incontrovertible”.
“Governor Okowa also salutes Ogidi’s integrity, wisdom, hard-work and visionary leadership which contributed, in no small measure to success of the party and urged him to promote ideals that will further unify the party especially in the South South.
The Governor prays that Almighty God will grant the PDP National Vice Chairman continued good health and many more years of worthy contributions to national development.
