Okowa Warns Haste Politicians, Not to Heat Up the Polity

Warri: Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, on Saturday warned politicians jostling
for the Warri South Constituency I Seat in the Delta State House of Assembly, not to heat up the polity in the interest of peace until the State Independent Electoral Committee makes its decision and announcements.Okowa and PDP South Central

He handed down the warning in his remark at the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Delta South Meeting hosted by former Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan at his residence in Warri.

Okowa stated that the warning became necessary especially for new breed politicians.

“If you be new person for the matter, the reason be say, make people nor waste their money throw way. No just rush enter the place make them for nor chop all your money.

“But if you have been there before, I believe you know what to do. Go about your campaigns peacefully and without heating the polity.”

Okowa promised that the Delta State Government will put in place all necessary logistics to ensure that the election is free, fair and credible.

He appealed to party faithful to continue to support the PDP to ensure its victory in 2019.
