SAPELE/Nigeria: The Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State on political matters, Hon. Clement Olojoba has commended the member representing Sapele constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. (Chief) Felix Anirah over what he described as “the law maker’s rare developmental stride in his constituency.”
Hon Olojoba who was speaking to newsmen about landslide achievements of the lawmaker said his constituents have consistently passed a vote of confidence on him, said “Chief Anirah has done very well in the area of youth empowerment within and outside Delta State with his annual football tournaments that he uses to empower the youths which usually gulp millions of naira annually.
According to the governor’s aid “Chief Anirah has tried so much in the social economic and infrastructural development in the area, having contributed so much to the educational development of his constituency through sundry donations and provision of educational materials, which include furniture, books, electronic gadgets and other writing materials that cost fortune.”
“He has also empowered the market women and men with cash donations to boost their businesses just as he has contributed so much to the health sector through several donations and payment of hospital bills for the indigent people.
In the State House of Assembly, Chief Anirah has shown amazing performance such that he is currently the chairman of the house committee on local government. Chief Anirah is very friendly and highly accessible to his constituents and the general public, and with immense love for the press and other social institutions to the point of assisting them in the area of rent payments, for which he is well loved by all. His contributions to his constituents and the general public are over whelming. This is very rare. It has never happened like this before in Sapele.”
