EFFURUN/Nigeria: Dr. Patrick Ighomrore, Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Community Development, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Chairman of Uvwie Local Government Area, Hon. Anthony Ofoni, on the occasion of his one-year anniversary in office, commending his dedication to grassroots development and community transformation.
Speaking with journalists on the sidelines of the anniversary celebration in Uvwie, Dr. Ighomrore described Ofoni’s first year in office as purposeful, noting that his administration has brought renewed hope to residents through visible developmental strides and inclusive governance.
He lauded Hon. Ofoni for aligning with the MORE agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, particularly in areas such as road rehabilitation, youth empowerment, environmental sanitation, and peacebuilding initiatives. According to Ighomrore, the council chairman has shown exemplary leadership by engaging with the people and responding to their most pressing needs.
