Onyeme who made this known recently while addressing Tax related issues call on all Deltans most especially the Informal Sectors to embrace Prompt Payment of their taxes in other for the State Government to double the size the Prosperity, Infrastructural Development, Good Roads Construction, Human Capital Development, Health Insurance Scheme Presently enjoyed by Deltans in this Present administration ably Govern by Dr Ifeanyi Okowa.
He maintained that Payment of taxes is not to Punish Citizens but it’s a civic responsibility that is backed by the law revealing that the Purpose of Payment of taxes is to raise revenue for the Government in other to Perform his Executive Function that will be of great impact to her Citizens” As a State we can attest to the fact that the Delta State Governor Sen.Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has used every Kobo raised as a results of taxes for the transformation of the State, hence we must all Support the Okowa’s led administration by Paying our taxes regularly” he added.
