LAGOS/Nigeria: ORAA Crescent has completed and commissioned Lily Court, a 12-unit residential development in Aguda, Surulere, Lagos, with the developer disclosing that all the apartments have already been sold.
The project, located at 25 Aiyetoro Street, off Adebola Ojomu, was formally unveiled and commissioned on Saturday, marking the completion of a development that the company said was conceived around spacious living, functional design and the practical needs of residents.
Speaking at the commissioning, Chief Executive Officer of ORAA Crescent, Mr Ademola Ojomu, said the project was driven by the desire to provide residential accommodation with more usable space in an area where, according to him, spacious apartments are increasingly difficult to find.
Ojomu said the development comprises 11 two-bedroom flats and one three-bedroom flat, adding that the reported sale of all the units demonstrated the level of interest generated by the project.
He expressed gratitude for the completion of the development, particularly in view of the difficulties encountered during the construction process.
For the project team, the development was not limited to putting up residential structures but involved considerations about how the eventual occupants would use and experience the property.
Project Manager, Mr Seun Mosaku, said Lily Court reflected ORAA Crescent’s emphasis on design, innovation and functionality, with provision also made for parking.
Mosaku said the company operates across property development, material design and related services, undertaking projects from the initial stage through completion and also working within existing spaces.
According to him, ORAA Crescent acquired the property in 2024 and commenced construction in 2025 before completing and commissioning the development this month.
He said input and feedback from stakeholders were considered during the project, describing the process as an opportunity for the company to strengthen its approach to planning, collaboration and delivery.
Mosaku said the completion of Lily Court represented an important milestone for ORAA Crescent, while disclosing that other developments were being planned.
He said the company intended to continue pursuing projects that combined practical residential needs with distinctive design.
A co-partner in the project, Mr Victor Ogbogolo, said the development demonstrated what he described as a resident-centred approach to property development.
According to Ogbogolo, the attention given to the eventual experience of occupants was evident in the layout, road network and overall design of the development.
“He considers the entire experience before you even move in,” Ogbogolo said.
He described the design as functional and welcoming, expressing the hope that the completed homes would provide residents with comfort, safety and an environment suitable for family life.
The commissioning also provided an opportunity for the project team and guests to acknowledge the collaboration that went into delivering the development.
Mrs Aminat Ojomu, wife of the CEO, gave the vote of thanks and expressed appreciation to God, guests, family members, friends and media representatives who attended the event.
She also acknowledged those who contributed to the completion of the project and expressed optimism about further milestones for the company.
The completion of Lily Court adds another privately developed residential scheme to Surulere, one of Lagos’ established residential districts, while the reported sale of all 12 units points to the demand that developers continue to target through new housing projects in established parts of the city.
The project was acquired in 2024, construction began in 2025 and the completed development was commissioned in September 2026.
