The federal representative, representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani federal Constituency, Hon Ossai N. Ossai hosted some Chinese investors along with some members of the transmission Company of Nigeria who were on inspection tour of the site where is expected that a step down a power substation from Okapi will be built.
According to a release by his PA, Sebastian Okom, he called the visit as another milestone in the quest for the step-down of electricity for Ndokwa nation from the IPP at Okpai.
It will be recalled that an earlier interview with Ndokwa Reporters, Hon Ossai stated that the issue of stepping down power in Kwale will be achieved soon. The capacity of the expected substation is estimated to be about 330KVAuu. The project will be both a substation and transmission project.
After the inspection, the group was hosted at Kwale by Hon Ossai Nicholas Ossai who has remained committed to the actualization of this very important Ndokwa dream.
It is expected that the project when actualized will bring constant electricity supply to the entire Ndokwa nation and its environs.
At the end of the site inspection, the team expressed their gratitude for the kind reception they received from the Ndokwa community and pledged to do their best for the speedy actualization of the project.
